The YBRA Geology Field Station (Camp) covers three quarter-quarter sections (120 acres) on the flank of Mount Maurice, several miles south of Red Lodge, Montana. It includes a large lodge/dining hall, two washhouses, two classroom-type study halls, six faculty cabins, eighteen student cabins, and several recreational facilities. The following provides links to facility descriptions and images. We're going to be adding more to the history of the various buildings and of the individuals after which they are named. If you have any stories or history to contribute, please send them to Betsycampen@bresnan.net. Numbers in parentheses are keyed to a Camp Map below.
