This field trip has had many leaders over the years. Originally it is was developed by YBRA’s Marv Kauffman (F&M) in collaboration with ecologist Phil Robertson (SIU). Sibanye-Stillwater’s Ennis Geraghty took over for Kauffman when he retired. In 2025, the CCHSM produced a video tour of this field trip lead by Robertson & Geraghty.
