Meet Our Team

Greg Creasy
Operations Manager

Having attended the Southern Illinois University (SIU) geology field course during his undergraduate years, Greg has been affiliated with the YBRA for decades. He enjoyed an extensive career in contracting and carpentry, including running his own business, before returning to Montana to use his skills for the benefit of the YBRA. Greg not only manages seasonal operations, but can be credited with the core craftsmanship that has refurbished and expanded camp facilities over the last decade. His master carpentry work is evidenced throughout camp, with highlights being the finish work in the Reinhart Lounge, Dutcher Dorm and Bonini Cabin. In addition to managing daily operations and coordinating capital construction in camp, Greg’s genial personality is core to his role as an ambassador for the organization. He innately works to foster both a positive community climate in camp, and for the YBRA within Red Lodge as a whole. Greg relishes his involvement within the greater Red Lodge community, with a special commitment as a supporter and organizer for Jimmy’s Roadhouse, a listening room forum that brings renowned artists to Red Lodge year round. In 2025 Greg received the YBRA Dutcher Award for exceptional service to the organization.

Peggy Timm
Head of Housekeeping

In over a decade of service to the YBRA, Peggy Timm has played an integral part in revitalizing camp accommodations for guests. Her boundless energy, attention to detail, creative ideas and organizational skills help ensure visitors have an exceptional experience during their stay. Peggy takes pride in her commitment to fostering positive relationships within the YBRA staff community, to help create a collaborative and positive seasonal work environment. When not attending to facility needs, Peggy enjoys long walks, listening to music and service to organizations within her beloved Red Lodge community.

Eliza Oborne
Head Cook

Having grown up in the Adirondacks, Eliza currently calls Missoula, Montana home. She has worked in a variety of settings including restaurants, theaters, and markets. Her work has ranged from managing high-volume kitchen operations, to facilitating staffing and training, to maintaining marketplace sanitation standards. She enjoys learning new cooking techniques, and the art of designing charcuterie boards for virtually any occasion.

Growing up the child of a geologist, Eliza spent her youth enjoying backcountry adventures, and this love of the outdoors drew her to settle in Montana. In her free time you might find her crafting wildlife inspired drawings, or enjoying time with her cats and dogs.

We warmly welcome Eliza to Mount Maurice for the summer of 2025!

Jeanette Reinhart
Former Head Cook

Jeanette has been elemental to YBRA operations for decades. Having grown up in Roberts, Montana, she first started in 1972, working in a kitchen staff role when Barbara Parks was the Head Cook. She moved into a regular season role at camp in 1980 and formally took over kitchen operations as Head Cook from Joyce Neibauer in 1985. Over her years, she fostered an authentic sense of family within the staff community, helping the YBRA grow as camp participation numbers bloomed, and was a constant and welcoming ambassador for faculty as they made their annual return to the YBRA each summer for the field season. Her mainstay was family-style meals, a tradition that was born from the era when teaching faculty traveled to the YBRA for the full summers with their full families. She lives about an hour from camp on a ranch with her husband Tony where she raised her son Shawn and now enjoys helping to raise her grandchildren. Though formally retired, Jeanette will often travel to camp for periods of the summer to train new staff or support kitchen operations as needed, while also checking in on the mountain’s hummingbird population that she’s nurtured.

In 2005 she received the YBRA Dutcher Award for exceptional service to the organization. In 2017 the Reinhart Lounge addition to the historic Fanshawe Lodge was named in her honor. 2020 formally marked her 40th anniversary with the camp. You can read reflections from Jeanette about her years at the YBRA in the 2021 Uplift.
