The Weaver Cabin
The Weaver Cabin, a new four-person cabin, was completed in 2025. This new addition to camp was made possible by a generous donation from Noel Potter, Jr., emeritus geology professor from the Department of Earth Science at Dickinson College and a YBRA 1958 alum. Weaver sits in a grove adjacent to the Fanshawe Lodge between Wasson and Barrell. It's named for Helen and Al Weaver, old friends of the YBRA, who supported the research of many F&M geologists working south of Red Lodge near Sunlight Basin. More details on the Weavers can be found here. The construction was completed by Greg Creasy, Darrell Strege and YBRA summer crews over a couple of seasons.
